Jon Asher is a painter, watercolorist, printmaker, musician, outdoor adventurer, and website designer living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. "Painting is a mystery to me. I never quite know how the images will turn out. I feel my way through a painting or drawing by experimenting with color, form, and rythmn and by making choices that have a visual impact. The symbolism and language that I use is so natural to me that sometimes it feels like music freely flowing through me. It is a representation of the way I live and watch the Universe. Painting gives me the freedom to lighten up and celebrate in a serious world."  |
